Natural Konjac Facial Sponge

Description

Made from natural Konjac root (a porous vegetable that grows in Asia), these jelly like sponges were originally used by Japanese farmers to cleanse their baby's skin.

They have become a beauty 'must have' and a much gentler way to exfoliate dead or dry skin as part of your daily skincare routine. Unlike standard synthetic sponges, Konjac sponges are made from a vegetable root so they are totally natural and kinder on the environment.

Directions

Konjac sponges harden when dry, so simply let them soak in water for a minute until they soften. Once they have expanded to full size, apply a small amount of face wash on to the sponge and begin cleaning your face by moving the sponge in a circular motion. Start in the centre of your face and work your way outwards, avoiding the eye area. Rinse sponge with clean water and wipe away any excess face wash. Squeeze all the excess water out of your Konjac sponge after every use and hang it up to dry using the attached cord. Once every few weeks it’s a good idea to drop the sponge in bowl of boiling water for a couple of minutes to sanitize it.
