Kantha is an ancient form of hand-stitch embroidery originating in India. The word kantha means “rags” in Sanskrit, reflecting a tradition of using discarded clothing or garments to remake old cloth into bed coverings and other household items. There has been no such upclycling with our bath robes, but they are made in the traditional kantha style with the double layer quilting and running stitch which gives the cloth the wrinkly appearance that is characteristic of kantha.

Our robes are a comfortable, loose fit and come in one size which fits all but, be warned, you'll be fighting off most members of the family keen to transport themselves to exotic lands by simply adorning themselves with one!

Washing Instructions - Due to the nature of the hand dyed fabric and the embroidery we recommend 30 degree wash / hand wash and to wash separately.

Size: mid calf length / 130cm width - wrap around with tie belt to fit most waists.
